Technology

Visual site monitoring: an infrastructure, not a camera

DiasporaBuild links existing cameras to project data, then to DIBO analysis and tracking decisions.

Conceptual architecture

  1. Existing camerasRTSP, ONVIF, HTTP snapshot
  2. DiasporaBuild camera infrastructureConnection, ingestion, fingerprints
  3. Project visual dataTime-stamped history
  4. DIBOImage analysis
  5. Construction intelligenceProgress and gaps
  6. Project and financial decisionsHuman validation

Technical building blocks

Open standards

Connection via RTSP, ONVIF or HTTP snapshot. No proprietary VMS and no required hardware.

Snapshot first

Scheduled images by default to fit a 4G link. Live (server-side MJPEG conversion) opens on demand and stops automatically.

Edge Connector

A Linux/Docker agent installed on site buffers images during outages and syncs when the network returns.

Traceability

Every image gets a server time and a SHA-256 fingerprint and can be linked to a milestone as tracking evidence.

DIBO

Level 1: deterministic checks (sharpness, brightness, camera displacement). Level 2: image reading by a vision model, with cautious findings.

What we do not claim

  • DiasporaBuild does not manufacture cameras and is not a video management system.
  • DIBO never approves a milestone or a payment: the decision stays human.
  • DIBO does not identify people and does not give structural compliance opinions.
  • No model is announced as “tested” without a real field test.
