What exactly is DIBO?
DIBO is our proprietary AI specialised in African construction. Specialised in plans, quotes, site reports and OHADA/CEMAC/UEMOA regulations, it assists clients and professionals from design to delivery.
Does the AI Architect replace a human architect?
No — it is a copilot. It generates ideas, sketches and quotes, but no permit can be issued without the signature of an architect registered with the Order of the country of construction.
What formats does the AI Architect generate?
2D PNG plans in plan view, sections, elevations. An estimated materials quote. A descriptive note. PDF export available. No DWG at this stage (Q3 2026 roadmap).
Does the AI understand African bioclimatic constraints?
Yes — natural ventilation, solar orientation by latitude, local materials, monsoon/harmattan resistance. We train DIBO with West and East African datasets.
How much does a generation cost?
10 DIBO credits (≈ €0.50) for a complete plan + quote. The first 50 credits are free at sign-up.
Can I modify the generated plan?
Yes — the plan opens in FUNDI (our 2D/3D editor) for manual adjustments. The quote recalculates on the fly.

AI applied to African architecture has progressed a lot since 2024, but most consumer tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion) remain ill-suited to the diaspora context: unknown local standards, costs in euros instead of FCFA, absence of regional materials in the proposals. DIBO was trained specifically on West and East African construction documents and practices, allowing it to produce immediately usable proposals: a Cameroon-style villa with a deep veranda and 4-slope sheet roof, a Cocody duplex opening onto a patio, a Karen residence in Nairobi with an indoor fireplace. The result is not meant to be signed — it serves as a preliminary design to discuss with an in-country architect and save 4 to 6 weeks of design cycle.
