Wall erection

Well-built walls ensure the solidity and durability of your home. Misaligned, out-of-plumb (not vertically straight) walls, or those with poor quality mortar, will lead to cracks, insulation problems, and difficulties with finishes (plaster, paint).

Speed sometimes takes precedence over quality. We often see walls built without adhering to best practices, with poorly filled joints, broken concrete blocks used indiscriminately, and a lack of control over verticality (plumb) and horizontality (alignment).

• ⚠ Walls are visibly crooked, leaning, or misaligned from one end to the other.
• ⚠ The mason does not check plumb (verticality) or alignment with levels and straightedges.
• ⚠ The mortar is very light-colored, crumbles, or is not applied uniformly.
• ⚠ Concrete blocks are laid directly without wetting the surface for better adhesion.

The cost of wall elevation is included in the price of laid concrete blocks, often around 1500 to 3000 FCFA/m² of wall, excluding the blocks themselves.
