DiasporaBuild Blog — frequently asked questions

The blog in practice

How often are new articles published?
2 to 4 articles per week, written by our in-house editorial team (2 construction journalists + our technical team) and complemented by contributions from verified partner architects.
Can I submit a guest article?
Yes — send your pitch to editorial@diasporabuild.com. We favour concrete diaspora experience reports, country market analyses and technical tutorials.
Can I subscribe without an account?
Yes via our RSS feed (/api/rss/feed.xml) or by email (form at the blog footer). A new feed dedicated to material prices exists: /api/rss/materials-prices.xml.
Are articles translated?
French first. High-demand anglophone topics (Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria) are translated into English. Automatic translation is available for other languages via the selector at the top of the page.
Can I republish your articles on my site?
Free republishing with attribution and a canonical link to the original article. Contact editorial@ for extended republication (magazine, PDF, training).
How are comments moderated?
Manual moderation within 24 working hours. We remove spam, insults, irrelevant commercial promotion. Contradictory debate is encouraged.

Going further

The DiasporaBuild blog is our long-form expertise hub. Far from superficial LinkedIn posts or shortened TikTok videos, our articles average 1,800 to 3,500 words, with cited sources, up-to-date figures and a bibliography. We cover four major fields: macro-economic analysis per country (Sub-Saharan construction, land, financing), technical pedagogy (how to pour a slab, how to obtain a Land Title in Cameroon, how to verify an ACD in Côte d'Ivoire), regulatory news (new land laws, CEMAC/UEMOA reforms, decrees), and diaspora experience reports (our clients' site stories with their permission). This rigour has placed the blog on Google's first page for more than 400 long-tail queries specific to the African diaspora — a free organic flow that durably feeds platform sign-ups.
